Anybody that knows us, knows that we love food. We have a food opinion on everything from cassoulet to burgers to rib eyes to fromage. Caramels are something we’re really partial to, after having discovered salted caramels in France.
This holiday season, we’re making gift giving a little bit sweeter with Commuters.
The Commuters is a local sweets operation, making double-boiled, small batch, hand-cut caramels with quality ingredients. Founded by trained butcher Megan Richards and editor Abi Slone, the duo have not only lived in over seven cities in under five years, but spend every available minute on the quest for “new to them” foods in places near and far.
The caramels, developed with traditional tastes but layered with nuanced flavour combinations (Apple Bourbon Pecan, Salted Vanilla Crisp, Rosemary Almond, Pistachio Mint, Espresso, Earl Grey) are versatile, adaptable, and of course, travel well.
Made to order for Sydney’s, shop Commuters caramels now.
